Cate Brothers Tribute – Saturday May 30th, 2026
2026 Blues Party Tribute – Honoring the Cate Brothers
Opening the Saturday night Auditorium show, the Eureka Springs Blues Party proudly honors the legendary Cate Brothers Band—a group whose story is deeply woven into the fabric of our music-loving town.
For decades, brothers Earl and Ernie Cate have helped define the Arkansas blues scene while playing a major role in shaping Eureka Springs as a destination for live music. With performances spanning numerous Blues Festivals and hundreds of local shows, their music has filled our historic venues and brought generations together.
Their signature blend of Southern soul, blues, and rock feels right at home here—reflecting the authenticity and artistry our community celebrates. Their connection to Eureka Springs runs even deeper through unforgettable moments like sharing the stage with Levon Helm of The Band in the Basin Park Hotel ballroom.
This tribute is more than recognition—it’s a heartfelt thank you for their lasting impact on our town’s musical legacy.
The 45-minute tribute performance will feature family members, longtime bandmates, and friends, including Dawn Cate, Jessie Dean, John Davies, Dave Renko, Garrett Novatny, and Brad James. The Blues Festival will also be reserving front-row seating in the Auditorium for friends of the band.
Don’t miss this incredible celebration of music and local history.
